InfyPortfolio comes with all possible customization options like Application Name etc, but if you want to make some modifications in the code then you need to set it up on your local machine, make changes, build it, test it and then push to the server.
When you are target to change a code we recommend using
src.zip file, but when you are planning to just test it on
your local without any code modification, then you can use
Based on the file you are using, you can either follow the Technical Guide or Non-Technical Guide. But before that, you will need to complete the following steps.
To run it on local, the very first thing that you need is a web server. You can install xamp/wamp or independently apache or nginx or your choice of the webserver which can run PHP Applications.
Make sure, you meet all server requirements listed here.
Create a folder in your local web server's root directory. E.g.
- if you are using Wamp, then create InfyPortfolio folder under pathtowamp/www/infyportfolio/
- if you are using Xamp, then create InfyPortfolio folder under pathtoxamp/htdocs/infyportfolio/
Then based on your choice, either extract src.zip or dist.zip to the newly created folder.
You will need to create a virtual host to set up InfyPortfolio. You can find steps here to create a virtual host.

Point your domain or subdomain to the public directory inside the InfyPortfolio folder.
Please note that InfyPortfolio must be installed on a primary domain or subdomain. Installing on a sub-folder will not work, for example:
example.com/infyportfolio (Invalid) localhost/infyportfolio (Invalid) if you are putting it in a subfolder or root website) example.com (Valid) local.infyportfolio.com (Valid) infyportfolio.test (Valid)
Open the link to the domain in the browser (Example: local.infyportfolio.com).
