How it Works:

This workflow automates the complete POD (Proof of Delivery) verification process using AI and n8n. It ensures delivery authenticity and reduces manual verification effort. Here's how it works:

1. WhatsApp POD Submission

• A delivery agent sends a POD image via WhatsApp.
• The webhook captures the incoming message and extracts the image URL.

2. POD Image Download

• The workflow downloads the POD image securely using HTTP request.
• The image is prepared for further processing.

3. Store POD Image

• The downloaded image is uploaded to Google Drive.
• A unique filename is generated for proper tracking.

4. AI Image Analysis

• The POD image is analyzed using AI vision model.
• The system extracts:
  • Customer name
  • Delivery date
  • Invoice number
  • Signature presence
  • Stamp presence
  • Overall POD validity

5. Structured Data Parsing

• Extracted data is formatted into structured JSON.
• Ensures consistent and reliable data for storage and validation.

6. POD Validation Logic

• The system checks:
  • Whether a signature is present
  • Whether the POD is valid
• If both conditions are true → delivery is accepted.
• Otherwise → marked as invalid.

7. Conditional Notification

• If POD is invalid:
  • A WhatsApp message is sent asking for a clearer image.
• If POD is valid:
  • A confirmation message is sent indicating successful delivery.

8. Save Delivery Record

• Valid POD data is stored in Google Sheets including:
  • Customer details
  • Invoice number
  • Signature & stamp status
  • POD image link
  • Timestamp

9. Delivery Confirmation

• Once stored, a final WhatsApp confirmation is sent.
• Billing or further logistics processes can be triggered from here.
